Accredited People, Evidence-Based Programs
Established to close a gap in return-to-work support: injured workers who needed structured, supervised conditioning to get back to the job.
What Sets the Programs Apart
ESSA-accredited EPs, APA-accredited physios
University-qualified exercise physiologists accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia, alongside Australian Physiotherapy Association accredited physiotherapists with ergonomics expertise.
Evidence-based, refreshed constantly
The team regularly completes training in the most up-to-date evidence-based practices, and matches the intervention to the person's immediate needs.
Gym, pool, home, workplace, aged care
Dedicated gymnasium spaces and hydrotherapy pools, plus home and workplace delivery when that is where recovery needs to happen.
NSW and Victoria, partners nationally
Local delivery across NSW and Victoria, with service partner programs arranged nationally through the group.
Seven Months Stalled. Then the Program Started.
The program
A worker fractured both the tibia and fibula in a workplace accident. After surgery, seven months of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy produced no measurable improvement: he could not stand unaided and his gait had deteriorated. A language barrier (the worker speaks Mandarin) made standard programs harder to follow.
Our exercise physiologists built the conditioning program around his mobility limits and delivered it in his home, with an interpreter supporting every exercise instruction and progress measured weekly against functional goals.
The milestones
Week 1
Standing independently for the first time since the accident
Following weeks
Walking extended distances with a stick, then 100 metres unaided with corrected technique
Return to work
Back on suitable duties with conditioning continuing on site
Capacity restored
Stairs, standing and seated duties all managed through a full shift
Independence back
Everyday life returned, down to walking out for the mail again
Give the Program a Stalled Recovery
If progress has flatlined, structured conditioning with weekly measurement usually finds the movement.
